These terms explain what Trader is, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. By creating an account or using Trader, you agree to these terms.

1. What Trader Is

Trader is a CRM built for tradespeople. It lets you manage customers, track jobs, and share work with your team. Access is available through a paid monthly subscription after a 14-day free trial.

2. Who Can Use Trader

To use Trader, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legal contract. You will need to create an account to access the service.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You are also responsible for anything that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@tradercrm.uk straight away.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Trader costs £5.90 per user, per month. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. No refunds are issued for partial months.

5. Free Trial

New accounts include a 14-day free trial with full access to Trader. No payment is taken until the trial ends. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your account will move to a restricted state. Your data will be retained.

6. Partners and Collaborators

You can invite others to work with you on Trader. Partners have full access to jobs, customers, and admin. Collaborators have access only to the jobs and tasks assigned to them. You are responsible for the people you invite and the access you grant them.

7. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse Trader. That includes:

- Posting false or misleading information
- Attempting to access another user's account or data
- Scraping data or reverse-engineering the service
- Using Trader for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Content and Ownership

We own Trader: the platform, design, code, and branding. You own the data you put into it: your customers, jobs, and notes. By using Trader, you give us permission to store and process that data to operate the service. We will not use your business data for any other purpose.

9. Availability

We work to keep Trader running reliably, but we cannot guarantee the service will always be available. Maintenance, updates, or issues beyond our control may cause interruptions. We will communicate any planned downtime where possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

Trader is a tool for managing your business. We are not responsible for decisions you make using it, loss of data caused by user error, or any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You can close your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we close your account for a breach, we will let you know.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of Trader after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
